I'm not surprised. While everyone else either serves the Erdtree like bitches or hides away in some far-off reaches plotting behind-the-scenes, Rykard openly says he's going to eat the fucking gods and if they want to stop him they're welcome to come try, and they do, and they fail. Ranni even gave him a shard of death so he could eat Maliketh if he got butthurt about the fragments being stolen and came looking for them. The guy just couldn't give a fuck.

having some bubbly cheerleader makes more sense in an anime game than it would here
and english voice acting is plenty bad in a lot of western games, subnautica below zero immediately comes to mind but I'm sure many people can come up with more

Yeah, there's some incantations and a couple weapons, nothing special, then like three or four whole armour sets you can't get otherwise. You're fucked basically. That said it's kinda poorly designed because if you do the volcano manor quests they fast-track you to Rykard which means you miss the stuff for Rya's quest, and if you do the level itself and hit Rykard they screw you out of the manor quests, so you're kinda fucked either way without knowing ahead.
