Seems to be a major overhaul of some sort, discussed for a long time. Worth watching it if it fixes many of the problems this could be another "no man's sky" type thing where something initially pretty crappy could be improved massively with time and work if the devs are willing to invest

I'm excited for the retroactive punishment of Alex's character. If the new story content is just drilling him for his incompetence and how he treats others, it's going to fix Yiik. Already from the screens that leaked I can tell they're actually going to talk about Alex being a horny womanizer.

They are pretty much just adding more surreal visuals and making the themes more obvious, people weren't willing to engage with the story so a lot of shit they wanted to convey was never understood since it requires reading between the lines.
