wtf you have had like 20 years and multiple releases on different platforms to play those games
i dont play on pc, why do you guys freak out over the epic store or whatever. Ive seen people not even buy games they want to buy because they're on there. whats the big deal?
???
hey cucksoletroon
Reminder that the save file for all games for 1.5+2.5 is inside an 18MB .png file.
How will they make the game available for steam cloud? Would been nice if we just had separate saves
EGS version has no cloud, but achievements.
Come on, Square, release this game on steam with Steam Cloud please!
u can use nintendo version if you want cloud
let's assume you own a Playstation. you boot it up, you have a friends list, you have your collection of games, and everything just works. it's been the standard forever, and if you don't like it, you can buy and Xbox or a Switch. but you don't have to.
now imagine that your Playstation made you select and boot up and entirely separate front-end, make an entirely new account with new account details, an entirely separate friend's list that doesn't sync with your existing friend's list, and it has an entirely separate library of games. so you have to bounce back and forth while managing an extra friend's list instead of just playing the goddamn Playstation. also, sometimes games are only available exclusively on this separate front-end. so unless you wanna wait for that agreement to expire, you better hope that your friend's list is up to date and that your friends have that same unnecessary extra front-end installed on their Playstation and ready to go.
that's esentially what the problem with EGS is. it's a potential solution to a problem that didn't exist and has instead become a whole new problem.
Chinese spyware. This is not a joke or an exaggeration. Epic constantly access parts of your computer that it doesn't need to in order to run games or act as a digital marketplace. Your browsing habits and choice of games on other platforms like Steam are being streamed to Epic for their marketing goblins to parse through. They also tout themselves as being pro-consumer but their gay exclusivity deals and leaks that proved they were employing actual shills on social media (including here, likely) means they are anything but pro-consumer.
cry about it. epic games has never steered me wrong and I enjoy their seemingly monthly free games
I can get any almost game I want for free at any time with the power of torrenting, why do I need to install Chinese spyware to do that?
>i can steal
great. let me know when you feel like supporting the gaming industry and not being a leach
The gaming industry is not worth supporting. I'll pirate all I want and I feel no guilt. Everyone else should do the same.
What part of "permanent exclusivity" do Steam shills not understand?
I don't think downloading free games on EGS is in any way supporting the industry.
epic exclusivity means other platforms cannot advertise it
therefore steam can't mention that it's coming until it's there
happened with several games so far, maybe you should have paid attention at some point
The Kingdom Hearts games are not coming to Steam. Period. Epic had the upper hand in this case and SE's payment for the porting efforts was permanent exclusivity. The best KH game was Nier 1 anyways.
NEO: The World Ends with You is coming on this 28th.
Final Fantasy VII Remake-I(ntegrade) is coming on June 16th.
Stranger of Paradise's state isn't known yet.

Everything in this list is real by September 2021. I've been trying to speak of this ever since VIIR-1 got shown at TGA last year. While it has been inaccurate on the dates, that was due to games being internally delayed after said leak. The Chrono Cross port, which was first known about with this leak, was expected to be released in December of last year, but as they never officially announced it, we never knew about a delay. Same applies to Silksong in February and a good ton of games shown there, with some being even cancelled which was likely the case for something like Resident Evil Outrage Epic exclusive re-releases don't get delayed because the work was already done.
Well as someone that played the whole thing let me tell you... you are not missing out. Well maybe a little. KH1 and KH2 FM are good but you can emulate those if need be. KH3 is pretty underwhelming. Granted some stuff about it can be fun but in general is a forgettable and badly paced experience.
No proton support.
>I don't play on PC
You_wouldnt_understand.jkr
Timmy's buying exclusivity rights to force people to use his shit platform under the excuse of "it's better for the devs" (but worse for the consumers)
I don't negotiate with people who try to force my hand especially if it's hypocrite
>0.0001 cent has been deposited into your Epic Games Store⢠account
Somebody redpill me on what all these .5 versions are for? The last time I played kingdom hearts there was just kingdom hearts 1 on the PS2.
they're the final mix versions with higher quality textures, 60 fps (except on PS3) and some minor gameplay changes
cry about it. piracy has never steered me wrong and I enjoy their seemingly monthly free games
How about those Square Enix chimps manage to properly code a set of games for PC ports that don't cripple themselves and self-destruct at random while playing, for once in their lives? A Steam port means shit if it crashes at tandom times unless you waste weekends looking online for a tentative fix from some other sap who ran under the exact same issue; most of these are literal upscaled porta of PS2 and handheld games, it shouldn't be such a daunting task
