People will segregate into smaller communities, but they will always segregate. You cannot have it any other way, we are social animals that always lived in groups, and any group implies the existence of something outside of the said group. Nations just happened to be the largest unit of segregation. You can make them smaller, draw different borders, or call them differently, but you can't get rid of them.
