Everyone that beat the game before the 1.03 patch cheated. That patch addressed exploits and bugs that most players took advantage of.

I haven't played it.
Games with grinding and inventory management are all busywork wastes of time.
I hate RPGs and MMOs so much.

You didn't cheated the game, or yourself. You grew. You improved. You took a long path and gained everything. You experienced a fulfilling victory. Everything was risked and everything was gained. It's nice that you know the difference.
