"Fluted Armour" sounds tremendously gay, which is why I like it.
It's a very literal and uninteresting depiction of something from the middle ages that most people would consider cool, like being a knight.
Every other video game would have it be overdesigned with a bunch of little parts that don't do anything and a flowery name like "Big Bad Impenetrable Armour of Strength".
Demon's Souls has "Fluted Armor".
It looks cool and has some kind of weight to it because it's in a shit world full of crazy idiots, and the height of anybody's aspirations is owning a full set of armor that looks like this.
