We live in a society where CONTROLLERS have updates.
How did it get like this?

Attached: controllerupdate.png (1175x555, 114.49K)

there are also calendar updates

I don't see an issue here. If they are going to continue developing software and patches that will improve my controller why wouldn't I update it?

What? When?

>Microsoft
found your problem
Everything they do is garbage and they just get by because they elbow the competition out with monopolistic practices

you do know that every input device needs a driver to operate?

>Nooo how dare they make the controler better via updates!!!1111

yeah? that's me

few hundred years ago i think

I mean, you could do things like 20+ years ago when controllers had a new software update, and you'd have to buy a new controller to enjoy the features because you weren't able to write new firmware to the old one you already own.

you are a brain damaged retard

>Everything they do is garbage
if not for Microsoft everything computer related would be difficult to use/develop for just like in case of Linux and we wouldn't progress where we are today for another century.

Wait until this guy hears about the dozens of PS2 and GameCube BIOS revisions that existed.

pls make an update to disable the blinding light thanks

Ah yes, I have fond memories of downloading those to my controller back in the day

>monopolistic
Sony still owns more studios, stop being stupid

>Push product to market
>Realize you can improve the product free of charge for all customers
>Do exactly that
>According to Any Forums, this is somehow a fucking bad thing
This board never ceases to impress

>ah yes i prefer to buy new controller for this small update

>plug in Nintendo wired controller
>works out of the box

Imagine needing updates for controllers lol

>According to Any Forums, this is somehow a fucking bad thing
that's not what he said
what he said was actually somehow more dumb
the problem isn't revisions, it's DOWNLOADING revisions.
The ability to have market and aftermarket controllers of varying quality isn't a bad thing, being able to download an update directly to your existing controller is the bad thing

Usually these just make the wireless connection better, really not worth getting triggered over

>fail my controller driver's license
>reckless endangerment from illegal gaming

OK BOOMER
