What is? Spamming R1?

>replayed 1 a while ago
>focused on examining all the little details in the castle
>there's tons of little flavor texts where dante comments on stuff

>also focused on taunting
>holy FUCK taunting
Who needs super dante when taunting is so busted

Hate that they moved all the taunts in 4 and 5 (and sort of 3) to super long meme animations, nothing beats that satisfying "come on" gesture and getting an extra rune or two out of it

Air taunts in 5 are insanely good, almost busted even. I agree they've made taunts too long though, its slightly medigated by every character in 5 at least having some attacks they can still use while taunting.

>Finally figured out how to quickdrive in 5
Fuck yeah, I love this game

Dante's taunts are still pretty short though. Except for the DSD taunt. Fuck that one.

Oh, yeah. If I could remove that one specific taunt from the pool, I would.

>incorporating tomboys blue rose

Impressive because I find that move clunky as fuck and I really wish it was smoother to use.

It becomes way more versatile once you learn you can aim it by holding the lock-on button and tilting the stick.

>Devil Trigger hasn't had an audio que for when it was ready to be used since DMC1
It was such a small detail but I miss it.

DMC1 is insanely well designed considering its age and that it was basically the first of its kind. The fact that they accounted for so many little details makes it feel like it should be the sequel to a much more rougher prototype.

Unless you view Onimusha as that game.
