It's just a shallow third-person shooter and any of the interesting spells are scripted in specific locations with a trigger (eg. using a repair spell on a broken bridge, but you won't be able to use the repair spell anywhere that doesn't have the scripted trigger).

Game unironically looks good, besides all the brown people, but I am definitely going to wait for the game to release. It has a good foundation but it's hard to say if the full game will live up to it's potential. You can argue that it's doing a lot of what other games are doing but I think the particular mix of all the elements combined with the unique world of harry potter could make for something good but again, it's hard to say right now if it can actually live up to that. Definitely a wait-and-see type of game. Very based of them to let you use dark arts though, wasn't expecting that.
