Divinity Original Sin and DOS 2 are a ton of fun with a co-op buddy. It's just a beautiful mess. If you like action RPGs, check out Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen. It's slow at the start but it's worth the effort, just grab the free infinite Liftstone in Hard Mode so you don't have to walk everywhere all the time (you'll still have to walk a lot). See also Pillars of Eternity and Tyranny.
