Ranni is objectively bad game design.
There are no incentives for the player to pursue anything other than the Ranni ending. Her quest nets you a cute witch wife, which is something no other ending comes close to matching. Why even have the other endings at that point if they're all going to be significantly worse? They either needed to make Ranni less appealing (the more realistic choice) or give you an equivalent wife in all of the other endings. As it stands, Ranni is OP and breaks the foundation of the game.
