Thanks user. I know it’s an old computer but I don’t understand gpu requirements in games. Is there a year cutoff for the PC or do PC games tell you what you need before you buy it?

It will have some trouble with some newer releases but should be pretty ok for a lot of games.

Should be fine, depending on the other specs. My built cost $1000~ in 2016 and it was pretty nice for the time. My 970 still plays the most recent games? They don't look perfect but fuck it there's nothing decent coming out anyway.

the 970 was released in 2014, but is as powerful as a more recent 1650 super
Buying a 1650 super computer will cost $800+ so $300 is a good deal
For GPU requirements on games you can just compare the games listed card to the card you have here, and see how far apart they are in power
