At least it embraces the garbage RNG instead of trying to shamefully hide it. Plus there are ways to manipulate the RNG (and the game explicitly encourages you to do so).

I get what you are saying, but that feeling can also happen in many other types of games, especially rougelikes like Binding of Isaac.
I'm not trying to say that the game isn't scary. But is it a "horror game" in a technical sense?

Because people are fucking obsessed. There's some minor implication that she was born male because "her mother made a great effort to make her look like a girl before her father had a look at her" and people blew this out of proportion.

If nothing else the dev statement makes me think that Marina knows what she really is she just doesn't care because she's lived as a girl all her life, and that's fine because it's about the least fucked up thing that happens in the F&H universe
