Why are there so many fucking squats??
All they do is make my legs shake violently for the rest of the day.
What are some actually good exercises in this game?
Ring Fit Adventure
Squats are one of the most important exercises for fitness
You must have just started because yes the small selection of initial exercises frontloads it with some genuinely difficult stuff. The squats in particular are the most egregious because they require you to go deep and also hold. Almost all the other leg exercises you unlock are more reasonable and enjoyable.
>All they do is make my legs shake violently for the rest of the day.
That means it's working
squats
Even after you unlock the other exercises, squats are still by far the most effective ones in terms of damage and AoE compared to any equivalents. The harder to do exercises aren't anywhere nearly as powerful to justify doing them over squats either. You could make the argument to do whatever you feel like doing, but the RPG mode comes with a lose condition and at that point, you might as well skip the RPG mode and just do custom sets. RPG mode got boring pretty fucking fast. I just do the rhythm mode and custom sets now.
Because I wish my ass was this fat
But why are there like 3 variations??!!
Are they just stronger versions? I don't see why I would use regular squat when overhead squat does like triple the damage?
I'm not doing 3 different fucking squats when I could be doing hip shakes which are infinitely easier and more fun.

>Why are there so many fucking squats??
So you dont realize that you wasted your money on a plastic ring
Good beginner lifting routines incorporate a ton of squatting because most people have underdeveloped chicken legs. Same thing applies
Because squats are versatile like that.

squats
LOWER, FAGGOT
Cuz da dragon likes big booties.
Might as well ask here
My legs and hamstrings are very stiff and have a lot of trouble with flexibility skills like Pendulum Bend, Hinge Pose and Seated Forward Press...
Do they just get better with time? Should I keep doing them regardless or should do easier exercises first?
For example, when doing a Hinge Pose I pretty much need to bend my knees a bit otherwise I can't touch the ground. Should I be doing that?
Not an expert but I would say try and work at least one into your routine each time - they won’t get any easier if you just avoid doing them, though I guess you can check the pre made sets to find moves that target similar areas if those moves specifically just aren’t happening.
The squat is the king of all exercises and the deadlift his queen. ATG bish
Yeah I usually try to always get some flexibility skills in there.
I'm just a bit worried that I'll end up hurting myself for doing something I'm not capable yet.
I mean the game itself often mentions not pushing yourself and modifying the move a little if it is too hard and you know how your body is feeling better than anyone else would. Proper form is important though so keep trying to make adjustments until you get there. It’s just going to take practice and repetition.
>Do they just get better with time?
they do but you'll probably need to work on flexibility exercises that the game is not going to show you.
dont force yourself to copy exactly what the game is showing you. you will definitely end up hurting yourself. just keep doing it up to your comfort limit. you will slowly get there.
im a fatass and wanted to do try out yoga. barely could do any of the poses at first. few months later, im still kinda fat but my body is definitely a whole lot flexable now.
>game tells you to go lower
>already to the point where its not even the proper form squat
>the controller is just detecting your movements wrong so you end up hurting yourself.
I see. I'll keep doing them to the best of my ability then. Thanks anons
