Stop trying to convince others of your opinion on games and just play what you enjoy , it will remove all misery from your life , really People like different things and that's perfectly ok , if everyone liked the same things then what is the point of individuality?

humans are literally built around ego, part of what drives you to enjoy or hate a game is other people's opinions (or lack of) around it. you literally cannot experience a game in complete isolation unless you're completely disconnected from the gaming community, and even then you will try to tell your friends about it

>look at all of these people that I think are thinking that everyone in the world is sheep except for them. I am clever for pointing this out and this is in no way projection.

If I do not assert my opinion, the things I like will be perceived as having less support, and thus the market will move away from them. >but you alone can't change the market trends! I will put my grain of sand regardless.

You can use discernment and not force your opinions on others at the same time, the need to be "right" is the root of all misery among humans
what makes a game enjoyable is the gameplay

What? You can have discussions that aren't based on trying to make someone agree with your opinion
no,i am merely suggesting to abandon the need to force your opinion on everyone else as if it was the ultimate truth, not to not have thoughts or discussion on games It's that need to be "right" that devolves threads into sóyjak and name calling spam. People lose their ability to think clearly when their opinion is threatened as being "the ultimate truth" exactly
