I was convinced that Snivy would actually be named Smugleaf. What a missed opportunity.

Its elegant design is nice. Contrarian Leaf Storm spam is fun too.
For me, its Emboar.

The best gen 5 starter out of the 3. I like its design a lot, very regal.

I don't really hate any of the gen 5 starters

It's unique but in that shitty way that makes it look like a deviantart OC, something which plagues many gen 5 pokemon

I like his design, but Grass gets resisted by so many types so I don't pick him because he learns so few cross-type attacks.

One of my favorites, used it for both BW and BW2, game has too many good grass types for me to keep it for any more reruns though, unless I do mono-grass (I wouldn't)

No clue why they made a FRENCH serpent for the region based off America

Same reason they made a samurai otter and an asian themed pig, unova was an absolute mess thematically
