beat the game yesterday. frenzied flame. feelsgoodman to see that bitch maiden seethe into oblivion in the final cutscene. everything past capital sucked ass on a level unheard of. tedious, boring, repetitive. just run past the trash that can one or two shot you and there are a million of them, do the god awful platforming bullshit with the horrific camera and controls that havent changed in a decade and dont even bother picking shit up if its out of hte way. its not even worth it at that point. just get it done and move on from this shit game.

thats how everyone beats them. you run past them, get the grace, rest to reset and then go back and aggro one by the door while the other walks down the ramp.

I'm glad someone else brought this up because I haven't seen it mentioned a lot, but yeah the platforming is absolutely fucking dogshit. For a game with a focus on exploration it should at least be fucking FUN to explore or at the very least competently engaging. Even Ubisoft's AssCreed shite is leagues ahead in this regard. The amount of times I would just randomly fall off a ledge or attempt to line up a jump and fuck it up for the 12th time through no fault of my own pissed me off no end.

Yeah this sucks. Both the carian knight sword and the crystal sword would be nice for my build but neither can have ashes applied to them. The worst part is the crystal sword doesn't even have an unique skill so I see no reason why it can't be customized.

Went to mountaintop thingy, but realized I missed a lot in previous zones so I'm going back and checking things out. Also respeccing back and forth to try things since I have 10+ larval tears. Holy shit is it ever annoying to get the lower level smithing stones, anything else than legendary weapons are such a chore to upgrade.
Also found a neat bug when dual wielding with the Coded Sword in the off-hand. The scripture part never fades when you use the main hand's WA or even when you're mounted.

Found a chest that fucking warped me to some city miles away
Sent to the nuked area, killed some T Rex dogs then got jumped by a fucking flame tank with an old man's head
It's by far the most fun I've had exploring in a game in a long time. The world's actually worth checking out rather than being window dressing. Amazing landscapes everywhere too.
