I'd love one based one Naruto unironically. There's a lot of crazy characters and powers to choose from, and most of them would probably make for fantastic fightan characters. I mean, off the top of my head you could have Gaara as a Zato-1 esque character using his sand to strike from a distance, whilst Rock Lee would be a pure rushdown character with an install 8 gates super.
I know Naruto gets a lot of shit, but it would unironically make for a hype fightan game.
DB was the perfect anime for ArcSys because it has only 20 real characters and almost none of them have unique powers. It's the most basic battle shounen ever conceived. Anything else would require a lot more work. Not to mention DB's international appeal.
The biggest problem with Hunter x Hunter is that despite running for 24 years we only know what half a dozen characters are capable of, because people usually die or fuck off for plot reasons before going all out. It wasn't until the latest (ongoing) arc that Kurapica revealed his fifth finger and explained how his eyes actually work and his mentor was given a name -- this is the #3 of the story.
Also, a TRUE adaptation is impossible because no one is crazy enough to put Ryuu in the game. I'm not sure it's feasible.
