Good idea when your country bans people from going outside. Pre-covid, they never would've had to.

hopefully both. these niggas don't deserve their franchises

Konami seems to be doing fine. They just announced a multiplayer arcade game.

Neither.
Sonic will keep Sega afloat for decades and all Square needs to do to keep living is shit out a new numbered FF or DQ game and whip it's western bitch slaves into pushing out another Tomb Raider.

Who said anything about monopoly? Nintendo is in a better position than both companies at the moment.

Nintendo games are carried by hardware

>Konami seems to be doing fine.
Why wouldn't they be? They own JSDF's weapon tech for fuck sakes.

Is this loss?

>mega man
?
that's capcom

Neither will go "bankrupt", but Sega might be bought out.
Square Enix is flying high and deep in the black at the moment, why would they be in any trouble at all?

Square is a lot more than just videogames ya know.

You have that backwards.
Square are literally coasting by the skin of their teeth with FF14 being their only money maker.
Sega have Sonic(merch and movie), PuyoPuyo, Hatsune Miku games, Yakuza and it's related spin offs and do publishing for some western companies.
Not to mention Square admit they keep having games they release under performing.

>underperformed
Square just has stupid expectations for their games and spends way too much money on making them. Its a problem with most of the industry.

>Square are literally coasting by the skin of their teeth with FF14 being their only money maker.
Bruh their financial reports are public information, their MMO operations literally the smallest of their three major revenue streams. Do you just live in your own head and believe whatever you want to believe?
>Not to mention Square admit they keep having games they release under performing.
Except for all the other ones that report major successes compared to expectations, like the Trials of Mana remake, Octopath Traveler, etc.
