this is the objectively correct officially endorsed ranking of the most Zelda-Zelda's, if you are a fan you have played and enjoyed the S tier!

Objectively the worst ranking I have ever seen. Consider ending yourself.

then you're not a true fan of Zelda, consider playing more of the games!

Not bad. I could go with your list to be honest.

For me I found the earliest days the best because you can drop in and just play and they felt just so much above other games or similar games of their day. And LA ending just hit hard, wouldn't be S if it wasn't for that ending. WW probably deserves more than A, but the original sailing was a bit rough. A lot of A would probably fluctuate for me, but they came later, stood out less among their time (yea sorry even OoT) and were following the set pattern of those first few as a blueprint with a little less branching out at that point.

BotW was a lot of neat stuff you didn't need to bother doing, the cooking got fucking old fast, and it was just too damn empty. And why the fuck is the best theme still LttP's, BotW needed some decent overworld music. OoT had good overworld music and the fucking N64 piece of shit that it was doesn't have an audio chip, and yet OoT had it.

>Ages above Seasons
you have made an enemy this day my friend!!

Seasons is the best just because of this. youtube.com/watch?v=xhGS79bPPCI

i hope the Twilight Princess decompilation leads to difficulty mods, if it weren't for it being so easy i would love the crap out of it honestly

seasons enjoyers are Din coomers.
ages enjoyers are tree coomers.

It felt like a solid game to me. Above average and damn sure one of the few solid Wii titles, granted also on Gamecube. I really liked Midna so I felt it deserved more than a C for having a rather endearing character in it.

But it didn't reinvent the game. Zelda, Link's Adventure, and LttP all came out did something pretty new or well above a standard. And Link's Awakening was among the few gameboy games to really have a solid amount of content and still feel as good of quality as their NES versions.

I'm with you though. I had hoped the combat would be more interesting with like shapeshifting sword and wolf combos or something.

>BotW was a lot of neat stuff you didn't need to bother doing, the cooking got fucking old fast, and it was just too damn empty
It's so weird to see you resetera guys complain about this game.

I genuinely don’t understand why people liked Link Between Worlds

The only S tier Zelda games are ALttP, OoT, and BotW.
>t. a true zelda fan

so many callbacks and homages, hero mode is hard as balls go for a 1 life run on that

>when you first find out about the LTTP randomizer
>then you find out that you can start out in the dark world

Why so?

I played it. Thought it was okay, but I didn't think it was some miracle of gaming the changes how open world is done.

As many hours as you can sink into it, the lack of a good sound track was noticed. I also heavily noticed that some areas were clearly designed with more effort than others, so the start zone for example feels amazing and detailed and plenty of others feel not so much.

Shield surfing was fun as hell. I also never really used it because combat was often best just avoided and I didn't want to have to find a new shield. Shit my skateboard doesn't break from one grind. Climbing and hang gliding were fucking awesome, also sorta meant no point horses. Better to have content than not, but it felt tacked on to remind people of OoT in a please like me way. Master Sword just needing to be tanked by hearts was a neat idea but it was just there and didn't feel very epic at all.

I really liked, but it hypes the shit out of you to the point you go in wanting to 100% the game. Which is great, but part way into to trying to do that I realized most of the content is repeated heavily and sorta shit. The core game is great, I liked the characters. Just too much overstays its welcome, its an open world meant to have the open world ignored and focus on the main quest, which I wasn't ready for or expecting.

Hell one of my favorite open world games is Prototype. Its like that too. Most of the bonus stuff is not worth bothering, just do the story and have fun with the powers along the way and get the ending.

I think if BotW hit early in the WiiU lifespan I would have been all over it and it would have stood out among games of its kind. It was just too late for the flaws it had. I hope the sequel improves on it.

tl;dr I liked it, but its undeniable many mechanics have little use, most side content is samey, music is lacking and so is the enemy variety. Right direction and a new take just didn't stick the landing.

>Why so?
Because you resetera guys are funny.

>but it felt tacked on to remind people of OoT in a please like me way.
there's a lot of moments like that
