But is it good? Finally got around to 9 and 10. Had a good time. I seem to recall 11 being neglected though. Was that due to the game or due to the lack of a modern audience for it?

11 is good, from a QoL standpoint it's head and shoulders above the others (you can choose weapons on the fly with the second stick). But Capcom was still stingy with the budget so the Wily Fortress is the shortest its ever been. Still a good game, and officially the first new million-seller for MM since the 90s, but Capcom will continue to let its fans go hungry.

It’s very good. I’d put it in the top 3 for the series.
It has my favourite set of weapons out of any game and really fun stages.

>but Capcom will continue to let its fans go hungry.
there are quite literally about a hundred Mega Man games

Yes, I understand that. But most of them not very long to play through. A fresh entry say, every other year would be welcome.

MaGMML Any Forums can't come soon enough.

Well those are some reassuring comments. Just need to wait a bit. It's half off like every other month or something.

11 has the highest QoL of any Megaman game. But MM9 and 4 are better games, honestly.

That's a thing in development?

Not only that, but the fact that there's a dozen Battle Network, Zero, or ZX titles doesn't mean much for those who just want another classic entry.

These games are like junk food user. You play them for a few hours and you jump to the next one. Old MM games existing for the last 20 years doesn't mean much to fans who want to play a new experience.

its pretty half-assed feeling, not really that bad though just underwhelming for its namesake combined with it being a modern game

>but is it good
Are you not tired yet? Do you have rocks in your head?

This number is inflated by things like Battle Network having 2 games per gen most generations. And portable versions of games taht are slight retreads. And the fact MMBN isn't even the same goddamn genre. There aren't 100 normal Megaman games for classic fans to just play.

There's been talks in the Any Forumsorld threads.

>play MaGMML
>have fun, no bullshit in sight
>play MaGMML2
>one of the judges forces art of his fursona into all his comments
>makes his fucking fursona a playable character
>play Episode Zero
>villains are nonbinary and go by they/them
Not a fan of modern chan culture, but beggars can't be choosers when the alternative is drowning in that much faggotry.

>been playing X5 and X6 with the hacks that fix a lot of their bullshit
>even dealing 4x damage, I cannot fucking stand the donuts in X6
I don't know how I played this game vanilla.

Megaman (((11))) "Fuck you inafune, we do it better than you"

Most Mega Man games can be beat in like 2-3 hours tops

>since the 90s
Battle Network 4 broke the million mark.
Also Legacy Collection, if you count that.

I think it probably attracts X fans more than classic fans. People really wanted to hate this game, but it seemed great to me. I also don't like classic Mega Man, though.

11's one of the best selling entries. And yes, it's pretty good.

It has a few X like ideas but it's classic through and through. You really can't be X without dashing and wall-jumps. Enemy layout isn't the same either.

X as a whole is a completely different beast from even 11. Classic has always put platforming over action whereas X is the inverse.

>me thinking I can beat 11's hard difficulty on a buster-only run
>me also realizing that doing so is actually really fucking hard

the game really wants you to master the weapons and the right stick weapon scrolling
I'd kill for hacks that inserted the right stick weapons to the other games

11 seems to really hate the buster. It does everything it can to make special weapons an actual practical answer to problems and the buster feels like a backup option in comparison.

I have no idea why they can't just make quick and dirty patches to the current legacy collections. It can't be hard and it would be a game changer.

Interesting. I'd have no idea how Any Forumstards could form a competent judge team though.

Havent played 11 but doesnt it have the power gear thing that makes it do 50% of a boss's HP?

It's hard but not impossible. It's not as if the game is totally built around special weapons. It's just that the special weapons are all so practical and useful that it's hard to justify not using them.

If you wanna go Buster only, the game has various shit that makes that simpler. You can buy auto-charge and larger bullets from the shop.

It's short on content and the music could be better, but it's the best playing Mega Man game ever with the way it handles boss weapons.

It has peaks and valleys for MM11 buster only Torch Man is the only boss who feels like he has a lot of bite for the challenge, just prepare for the one part with all the enemies over the bottomless pit in Wily 1 that part is torture without Acid Shield.
