Fuckin shit though. I made an evil character to parallel my good in the race for the Elden Throne (multiple endings roleplaying stuff)…I refused Melina at the beginning and found you can’t level up. Or get Torrent…you are literally your starting class for the rest of the game

At the beginning I thought all the maiden stuff would be like Ico and you'd have to travel around with her and protect her on your quest to become the elden lord. It feels like the maiden part at the beginning was dropped hard later on for typical souls stuff.
