Has any other game managed to deliver such a grand feeling of adventure, scope, and scale as Elden Ring does?

Recently?
No, not even close actually
No
Tendies will claim botw but that shit sucked
Nope. Best game I have ever played
Many games did that in the past
Nope
Yes. It’s called “My Rape Dungeon”
Cope
Yes, BotW did it better five years ago. inb4 fragile fromdrone cope
I am so tired bros....
I don't want to torture myself anymore...
should I just turn on the God mode and finish it?
Sus
You'd only cheat yourself
Take a break and come back later
Outer Wilds
Who are you stuck on?
In what way does Elden Ring inspire adventure? It's just a pointless empty open-world that's been done a thousand times now.
No. Playing it blind and taking your time exploring areas is really fun. You would think that Stormveil castle was huge then you get to a level like this and you realize you're just getting started. And what's more you can freely go to wherever you want.
not stuck, burn out, the game is too wide but doesn't follow any order, it's all just
>go sonewhere
>find some retard boss who does big damage
>die
>repeat 2 or 3 times
>win
>get some random shit you don't need
>repeat
perhaps this game is not for me
Came to post this
Nah, if you've already sunk this much time into it you're just killing the dopamine rush when you do get it. If your work is suffering though, just go on /erg/ in vg and ask for a summon to carry you.
>In what way does Elden Ring inspire adventure?
Are you joking?
Xenoblade is much better, botw is on par, all 3 are garbage.
I am playing the f2p version, can't summon people.
>muh gwafix
yeah but is there any substance to these empty vistas?....
Yes
The feeling of being a lone adventurer in an alien world.
>random 3x3 of empty landscapes that offer nothing
Okay, but where is the actual adventure I'm supposed to be seeing in these games?
I hope TES VI can come close. Elden Ring world is great but fairly empty
>'Le empty!'
>post a picture of lots of empty space that has no reason to exist
Okay?
Do you want every inch of the map covered in something? Letting the game breathe is a good thing and adds to the scale of the game.
