When WoW happened is when it was going to go bad. But them closing Blizzard NORTH was the beginning of the end for them.
Then the WoW x-packs came, SCII, DIII, Overwatch which is only good for porn and finally Reforged which finally made people angry.
Then again hoping that MS will do something about them being shit. But that would require purging the company and putting competent people with actual skill and talent.
