I love how most weapons in this game have either a quarter circle attack or a back forward attack or both. It really ups the variety, I wish Aria did this too. Aria might have more weapon types but it has less variety within the types because of the lack of fighting commands.

So funny thing is that the trend was obviously for 3D during this era, and when they made 2D games they did a lot of 3D to 2D sprites. The MMX4-6 games have a lot of them. Now we look back and of course Symphony is well beloved and looks pretty good. A lot better than the 2D and 3D games of the era.

The jewel of jump or whatever has the soul of a winged demon. When you double jump you get a brief after-image of the demon's wings giving you the ability to jump again. When you do that double jump and get hit with petrify at that second you turn into the original winged demon.
