Any elden ring lore sages here?
Elden ring deep lore thread
Mohg had sex with the corpse of Miquella repeatedly trying to start his Dynasty lmao what a madman
Miyazaki only knows how to make 1 game
I CLAPPED, I CLAPPED WHEN I SAW THE BASILISK no but really I did
Based Mohg avenging all the casuals who got filtered by Malenia by eternally raping her young brother's corpse with his gay aids ridden goat-man dick.
Dark souls connection, or Miyazaki is really just a hack?
hack
Can someone tell me why dung eater was hanging out at roundtable? He's not a tarnished, he's an omen, right? Is it maybe something to do with his body being locked in leyndell sewers which happens to be right under the IRL roundtable location?
Something smoethign something dark ring. something something cursed ring. SOmething something alien rings.
Soemthing smoething lord.
he's tarnished
Bro the introduction specifically states DE is tarnished
Someone said in a previous thread that he was an omen that came out wrong or something. Maybe I'm getting bad info
Oh huh. That was a hundred gamer hours ago, I'd have to rewatch it
The lore for this creature is that he's an alien from Spore that got abducted from Buttfucknowhere II by the Grox and beamed down there.
>kidnap and murder twink
>want to have babies with him
>but wont answer back
Truly the biggest brain
Did Marika shatter the ring because she was getting fed up with the Greater Will or because she got nuts after godwyn's death? Or it was the latter that caused the former
He's just demented and wishes he was an omen, his armor is made to resemble their excised horns.
>Numen are supposedly from another world
What the shit?
He's alive, Gideon confirms it, it ,might have been just Mohg swimming around the cocoon thing as a pool of blood or whatever. It's unclear, like nearly everything else in this fucking game.
She was already planning some sort of coup, it's not clear if Godwyn's death was accidental or if she had to rush things because they weren't going according to plan. Either way, woman moment.
Which of these will get resolved in the DLC.
Interesting how Marika isn't from lands between herself and she's trying to ruin the Greater Will's plan. Is she just worshiping another Outer God?
I hope they resolve the one where the game whitescreens :)
I like to think after ds3 everything just crumbled to ash which was great fertilizer for the erdtrees and reset everything. some remnants could've remained perhaps
Don't care before some dark souls lorefag corrects this. Seems cool to me
>swimming around the cocoon thing as a pool of blood or whatever
Great mental image there
>He's alive, Gideon confirms it,
Not disputing it but how the fuck would he know(inb4 all knowing) but his sister is just chilling waiting on him to come back as if he left to go get some cigarettes and not being kidnapped by a mega gay alien pedo.
What's the lore behind the fire giant?
It's just another Moonlight Greatsword, something they decided to bring back again and again to be cheeky. Don't know why they choose basilisks though. I think these fuckers would be more fitting since they're such a weird design and look so out of place they almost look "in place" as a result.
>option to refuse Melina exists
Part of me hopes theres actually some great shit waiting for the person balsy enough to attempt it, on the other hand it could be just a meme decision for no real reason
>Don't know why they choose basilisks though
They left a deep mental scar on thousands of players who don't look at the ground and showed up in multiple games
It's even worse when you realize he placed the cocoon on top of a giant pelvis like a womb so he might actually be trying to get the Formless Mother to fuck Miquella up somehow. As for the second thing, beats me, probably the rot turning everything into shit for brains, though in reality just mediocre writing. Hell, maybe she thinks he's still in the core of the Haligtree or something.
They are kinda boring here, in DaS 1 they'd fuck you up really hard really fast if you arent careful. Here you can stand long enough in the dust to kill them
when i encountered them the first time in the underground area in liurna in that one dark corner spot i thought it was a cool gag to include them. then they turned up everywhere afterwards in the game and were just fucking annoying
They've been in all 3 DS games, there's no other such enemy.
I never had a problem with them eitherway but one of my friends had a deep revulsion for the design which I found amusing
I did it. you get nothing for losing out on leveling, horse, summoning and roundtable hold. you're walled by the capital where you're forced to take her accord to get in.
other anons actually tested hacking into the capital and there are no story or dialogue changes.
I feel very ripped off for what could have been a reward for playing the game's ultimate hardmode.
What's the lore of Dragonlord Placidusax? looks like he used to have full 3 heads King Ghidora set but has been severly battle damaged, no tail either
He's the last of his kind and cursed to watch over their sacred flame thing, because Marika is that kind of petty bitch. And also probably because she wanted something that could harm the Erdtree to keep in her backpocket.
...
To add its really weird because the game offers you enough tools to not be reliant on Melina.
>roundtable isnt mandatory
>melina burning herself to burn the erd tree isnt necessary due frenzied flame
>can remove frenzied flame
Maybe I'm just to hopeful such an extreme obscure and hidden ending exists.
It would be nice if there was one souls game where we don't hit the scene AFTER everything's gone to shit.
It would be nice to fight the demigods of a functioning society at their peak for once.
Is there any way to get to the three fingers before then?
They're deadly if you aren't ready for them in ER that spray fills up the death meter pretty fast
All we know is that he was Elden Lord very long ago and is now just vibing in the middle of his pocket extra-temporal storm, waiting for his god to return, we don't know if that's someone like Marika and he was a consort, or if it's more like the Greater Will.
Suposedly he was Elden Lord before Marika and her beaux's came along. Not sure who severed the missing head, my bet would be on Godfrey. Doubt King Ghidora-lite would relinquish the crown willingly
Damn what a disappointment.
Probably just fed up from her orderly intents spiraling out into shit: her male avatar that was supposed to culture the barbarians went and married a queen from a neighboring country, conspiracies and betrayals among the immortal servants everywhere, and some dicks stole a piece of the rune of death from her pet lion and went stabbing to death one of her immortal offspring and a fuckton of retainers. Not the best century for Marika indeed.
>All we know is that he was Elden Lord very long ago
where does this info come from
Yeah, I liked seeing their ambushes in that hero tomb but just having them carelessly sprinkled around deeproot and lake of rot was a waste
no, there's absolutely no way. you could technically do the transporter into leyndell where the golem and talisman are but you'd have to be hacking to survive the fall down the elevator shaft. I don't know if the hidden wall way to the three fingers is accessible from the other side, because I haven't actually seen it myself.
I'm kind of one
I shared a video here last night and a few people liked it, despite how shitty my first time making one of these was
>Don't know why they choose basilisks though
because they can go the easy route and say they all came from godwyn, they gave them the same fucked up eyes and instead of curse they have instant death which is associated with godwyn as his weird fucked up eyes giant alien corpse sits on a throne made out of death blight roots or deathroot or whatever they're called
Nah, it is said in game that she could not extinguish the flame completely, so in spite she sentenced the giant to guard it forever.
Fuck that, how do I get to his arena? i havent even seen him before but i keep hearing he's in farum azula
