Something I never see anyone complain about that I need to address is Volcano Manor. It was an absolute wasted opportunity. They give you nothing more than a handful of NPC Invader quests with absolutely NO backstory on who they are, why Rykard/Volcano Manor wants them dead, and why YOU specifically need to go and kill them. Then if you do all that they magically teleport you to Rykard's boss room, letting you essentially skip the entirety of his legacy dungeon in the process. What the fuck were they thinking? The icing on the cake for this for me was how absolutely outstanding Rykard's arena looks and how poorly designed his actual fight is. You can stunlock the Serpent then Rykard himself into a permanent combo until they are dead. And if you don't? Rykard will literally kick your shit in over and over with thousands of bullshit homing skulls, magma spam, etc. Second half of this game does not live up to the first half.
