same

Railgunner is kind of stinky. Just unlocked her Marksman achivement and that made her a little bit more tolerable. Also unlocked the Void nigga but haven't really given him a chance yet.

Can someone explain what the fuck is instakilling me? I've had no problems with clearing monsoon or beating the boss before but now I just lose 700 health in less than a second while barely any enemies are around. Is some items bugged or what the fuck is happening?

Probably the Collapse status. It's a nuke that goes off ~3 seconds after being applied. One stack is survivable, two or more is gg

NTA but Is that the red and black swirly thing that sticks on you? I'm just supposed to accept death?

That is just bullshit, how are you supposed to survive that? Fuck Hopoo and his obsession with instakill shit. Also, why the fuck is fire damage back to EA levels where it takes forever and hurts like hell? Fucking hell.

>takes control of your turret and instantly kills you

nothing personal engineer

>fire damage back to EA levels
I played a run last night where I popped out of the pod, got hit by a fire lemurian immediately, then died. 17 second run.
This has to be unintentional, right?

Yes, the bullshit bullseye icon. So far the only thing you can do is either use the few seconds you have to run as far away from any imminent threat as you can, since your HP is about to go poof.
If there's two or more stacks, like user above said, use the few seconds to accept death and prepare for the next run.
patchnotes and bugfixes fucking when? why does the railgunner look so shit visually? who the fuck designed the new enemies and items?

Correct. Hope to God that your teddy bears protect you. Stay clear of certain Void enemies since they apply it and make sure you instantly scrap those shitty squid polyps as well. The latest patch stops infesters from taking over mechanical allies, but squids don't count.

I don’t
Enforcer sucked

Lunar items are completely worthless, except maybe 2 (a third very situationally).
Void items are insanely strong.
Really jogs the noggin.

Oh and don't forget the literally-no-reason-to-exist ICBM, laser scope and Symbiotic Scorp.

IIRC Ben (new developer hired for the DLC) said it was on purpose. But we don't have any concrete evidence of it other than a screenshot of him in the discord because there were no patch notes for the initial update.

Explain your reasoning. ICBM and scope strongly boost already very strong aspects of one's build and serve as direct damage-ups, and scorp is designed to fuck over bosses - an items made to help you finish your run is good in my book.

Fire that dumb asshole

>2 hour long Monsoon god run
>4000 health as mercenary
>Get hellfire tincture
>Use it
>Die in 2 seconds
Fire damage is fucked right now

Did you have that one item that increases burn damage? I think that makes hellfire kill you faster

>there were no patch notes for the initial update.
Honestly, this should have been a signal not to buy it. I can understand keeping new items and effects out of the notes so players stay surprised, but "fire DoT damage increased by 600%" should have been in patch notes.

Laser Scope is as powerful as the clover. ICBM is about as good if you have missiles. They're just flat power boosts with no/little specification like other red items.

was for

What about the Spare Drones Parts? Do they work on Engi's turrets as well? (as they also gain the attack speed, chaingun and missles bonus)

I liked the rusted lockboxes spawning guaranteed reds.

It did, but they changed it.

didnt use the keys that much before the dlc but after the patch i used 5 and got two red
is that how the drops normally are?
