What went so right, bros?
What went so right, bros?
definitely not the game play
Some of the greatest game designers of all time got together to rewrite the rulebook on 3d game design and completely knocked it out of the park.
Like think about shit like Lock-on system in 3d action games, it's a thing we so completely take for granted in games like DMC and Dark Souls now; it's such a natural part of game design that many don't even question it.
Thank you virtual on for creating the lock on system in 1995
>OOOOOOOOOOOT-T-T-T-T!!!!!!!!
>O-O-O-OOOOOOOOOOTT!!
As a Zelda fan, I love Ocarina of Time. Really!
retard
you have to be retarded to enjoy this
>Smooth fluid gameplay loop
>No time wasting/obtuse bullshit
Kino design.
>20fps
>smooth
lol
Eat shit Arin
>xhe is still stuck in the second dungeon
Filtered.
Yes, and Studio Ghibli isn't fluid because it's 24fps animation right retard?
SOVL
>OOT dungeons make BOTW trannies seethe
You need to actually physically look up and manually shoot a switch on a higher plane with your slingshot to proceed. Ocarina of Time is looking to be the killer app for the Nintendo 64. Playshitstation fans can keep their Tomb Raider!!!!

>ignore ez mode stun item at :13
nice programming nintendo. Man this game is terrible.
Cope trannoid.
when I replay this when the PC port is finished, best way to do so is to ignore all the heart pieces and just roll with 3 hearts for the entire game, right?
I don't know. With FF7 I can see the hype but this just seems like a decent adventure game
Arin admitted he was wrong about this game, but never did with sonic despite him loving sonic more growing up
What Dark Souls demake is this?
Why do underageds love FF7 so much but hate every other pre-2000 video game?
Is it all the marketing around the "remake" that indoctrinated them?
Contextual fast travel that didn't feel cheap. Ocarina has been in Zelda forever and before this, but it is always nice to have and it has more uses than just fast travel.
What was your favorite miniboss?
He also admitted to hating the 'cool guy' archetype when discussing why he doesn't care for characters like Dante or Sonic today.
This game and Mario 64 stood out as way better than they actually are because there wasn't a single good game left on the N64 after you played those
>Rocket: Robot on Wheels
>Nightmare Creatures
>Gex (although the PS1 port is better)
>Rayman (although the PS1 port is better)
>007
>Perfect Dark
>Rampage
>Space Station Silicon Valley
>Blast Corps
>GetForceGemini
There great games, people weren't autistic about 60hz or trilinear textures at that point. And 3D was in its infancy so shooters were always going to be finnicky compared to now.
