Look at Greedfall and New world mmo it was supposed to games about colonizing and that time period, but after backlash in early development both got butchered beyond recognition.

I played a demo during the women's day celebration on steam called Card Shark it's set in 16/17th century france and it's about swindling rich aristocrats using card tricks. You start of doing it just for money but your main aim is to uncover information about royalty during what i assume becomes the french revolution.

Game is good, manages to fill the void Bushido Blade left while having its own identity. I like wackier fighters as well but stuff like Hellish Quart brings balance to the DNF Duels of the world.
