Clone Wars is the best era in Star Wars

My favorite lego game is Lego Star Wars. Its very addicting, a true lego game like no other. If you're not familiar with Lego Star Wars, I wrote about how awesome it is to play.

If you haven't played it in a while, it's kind of like playing a modern day "The Simpsons Game" but even more fun. The basic idea is that you play with your other Lego minifigs and have to play the "level" given. Your Lego minifigs each have their own stats and abilities and they all work together to figure out how to beat the level. For example, I play with Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewie, Luke, Obi Wan Kenobi, A-Wings and B-Wing and we are a group of Star Wars fanatics that love the movies.

i always wanted to play that open world gta style one but never have. the new star wars game looks pretty cool and must have so much content to cover all the movies.

I occasionally still play The Complete Saga if I just want to turn my brain off and get comfy on the couch, it's relaxing and has an absolute fuckload of content.

Which are the better optimized ones on PC? I remember browsing PCGwiki and most of them require workarounds and fixes that I can't be bothered to do for lego games.

My honourable mentions
>Harry Potter series (Best Harry Potter games ever, especially if you are a fan of the franchise)
>Lego Marvel series (They are fine, but they get boring after you clear the story)
>Lego Star Wars 2 (For introducing me to the series)
>Lego Batman 2 (It's the first open world in the series)
>Lego Indy (I liked the mechanic of stealing enemies items)

I recommend Lego Star Wars 3 The Clone Wars. It didn't give the problems unlike Force Awakens, Marvel and Potters

I actually don't know. I haven't played a Lego game since I was a kid. I remember FUCKING LOVING the Pirates of the Caribbean one ONLY because you could play as a mermaid. And well the Indiana Jones one was iconic for me.

Always hated the Star Wars ones but that's mostly because I myself don't like them. I don't remember much about the harry potter games but i think i kinda had fun.

I think the one with Lego: The Movie was pretty fun. Oh and that one lego batman was fine too. I wish we had a Lego Superman game.

Any of the ones without dialogue.
Lego Batman 1 is my personal favorite but it is also the first one I played so I'm biased.

Are these games really good? I remember playing a Star Wars one, and liked it a lot. But then I watched as every series got a Lego game, and I started to think, they're making so many, they can't possibly ALL be good, can they?

Lego Star Wars of Indiana Jones were both fun as shit. Lego Batman was pretty good. Hated Lego Harry Potter and never played any others

>open world
Is it that Lego City police game?

They are all much the same (at least what I've played) and quite simple really, but sometimes that's just the type of game you need.

Some of them are really good like HP series and SW. Some of them are lazy cash grabs like Lego Movie Videogame and Lego Avengers. Their quality is all over the place

They all are good but they are all more or less the same. I'm sick of them and don't want anything to do with them, but the new star wars looks real good.

They're a very fun time in co-op.
Single player wise I agree with

Huh, maybe I'll give it a try. The Harry Potter full series goes on sale for like, ten bucks, all the time. Sounds worth it.

for me it was the pseudo rts segments
the mission ones were easy as fuck and the bonus ones were more puzzle than strategy but it was still fun

They're all based off the same basic formula as the original Lego Star Wars games, so there's a fundamental level of enjoyability to them. But some are definitely far better than others, which mostly comes down to levels and what random little mechanics they decide to throw in for that game

DC Villains was a PS+ game a few months back. How is it?

List of all the games.

I found it alright. I like the sheer amount of characters in it, and how you make a custom character as the MC for once which is neat, but otherwise the open hub world is kinda lame and the levels are mostly just meh
