So how’s the enemy variety? Better or worse than DaS3?

Lots of baddies, more enemies than you can sneeze at.

They're reused a lot depending on the setting and the atmosphere, but none feel wholly overused or overdone.

it has far more individual enemies and bosses than ds3

The super secret area is made up almost entirely of recycled enemies including 1 of the 2 bosses lol

Basically you've seen all the enemies in first three areas (Caelid, Limgrave and Lake district). Every zone after just keeps reusing them including bosses. Main story bosses are of course unique but 80% of content is regurgitated garbage. 5th lava worm, 10th pumpkin head, 12th night's cavalry. Sometimes reskinned with a different attack animation or spell but 99% of the time the rule of 3 zones holds strong. The people who praise open world in ER expose themselves as shitters who never played a good open world game.

The same. But since it's open world and about 4 times longer than any other given souls game. People are realizing that Souls game didn't have the biggest variety to begin with.

There's at least nine new enemy types in the Altus plateau and six in the Land of the Giants.

Journos called this game a 10/10. Can you believe it? Only 8 unique bosses and they gave it 10/10.

>open world games can never re use npcs or enemies
you people have the stupidest nitpcks for this game lol

More and better. There's a lot of le knights but they do some pretty neat stuff by giving them regional differences like spells, items, buffs, etc.

Altus plateau has snakemen in volcano manor, dancing ritual ladies, wormfaces and oracle envoys. That’s it.

Snow area has zamor knights and wolf archers. Everything else is recycled.

It's great. You'll run into repeat bosses just due to the sheer size of the world but you rarely feel like you're running into the same challenges over and over. Bosses that repeat usually have some change in each fight and I don't think any boss repeats more than two times (assuming they don't become normal enemies, though few do.)

I'd say the only places it can get a bit repetitive is with the mini-dungeons littered around the map, where the standard enemies are often either Imps or Skeletons but even that is frequently not the case.

You will defend literally any shit served to you.

It’s shit. DaS2 tier. Enjoy fighting different flavors of knights and boring humanoids the entire. Oh and have fun with the slog of the snow area. It’s 100% recycled content with nothing new in it.

Zamor knights exist earlier in the game as minibosses. They get recycled as a mob in the snow zone.

Stay mad. I'll just be enjoying playing the game and letting people like you know you're retarded :^)

There’s literally only one that shows up before snow area in the Limgrave Gaol. It barely counts as being reused.

>he thinks crucible knights, bloodhound knights and zamor knights are minibosses just because they get teased in Limgrave

Lol.

>hp bars
>Loot
>Separate zones with statues next to them
Sounds like a regurgitated mini boss to me

Technically better but the quality of most enemies are a far cry from DS3.

In what way?
