The problem is you can hypothetically tank/soak Radahn. Not only is Ranni basically an invulnerable lich-puppet, she turns your health to 0 in an instant.

radahn is at his lowest point when you beat him though, he's battered and bruised, infected with rot, lost most of his cognitive functions and is still holding the stars and himself up with gravity magic by sheer instinct I guess
