Why was reaching plat so much harder this time around? And how come once you reach plat I and switch over to petdecks all the matches are super easy and you end up with 10 or so win streaks in a row every season, is it because I don't care about winning anymore?

The problem with plat now is that there is no meaining in ranked.
Now that you cant derank anyone can do it and a lot of people prefer to stay in gold as the rewards are the same but you have to play less.
The game isnt competitive enough for your rank to meant anything and now every rank is filled with both tryhards and casuals.
