Okay, so I know how to do everything in coilsnake in EB including making my own sprites, but would anyone actually care about a lewd Earthbound mod?
Of course Paula's on the menu, but I don't think it should be about Ness (I'm thinking a main male character you can change the sprite of), but at the same time, people definitely want some EB family lewd stuff - and there are definitely moments in the main story where Ness gets propositioned by women and could have the details filled out with. My problem is the silent protagonist meme. I feel like it wouldn't be true to EB and I bet a lot of people would complain if he said even mild responses, but it also would kind of hold the scenes back.

If you think you've got the chops for that I would unquestionably love to see it. I would prefer Ness getting with the girls myself. But if you have a vision then go for it. Writing Porky would be a problem because I'd want to be super accurate, and I would be trying way too hard to make him funny (which I think is the wrong thing for porn.) I'd have to rewrite him as just a creepy sex pervert.

user, modding Earthbound to include all of these things sounds like an impossible task. Wouldn't it be easier to create an Lewd Earthbound game in Unity/Game maker/Godot?

Look up Coilsnake, it lets me do everything I need. The size of the dialogue box was the one thing holding me back, because the vanilla one is way too small, and Coilsnake lets me change that too.
The only actual problem is how far I'd be willing to go. For example, I could use battle sprites to "fudge" crude animations and add more lewd details
