I played a Moba back in 2012. Everyone that plays these games are absolutely cunts. I played one game being shit talked online and uninstalled it, never played a MOBA again.

I realised towards the end of wow all my enjoyment of it stemmed from ganking the fucking assholes who played it and deliberately just making people's lives miserable like getting people kicked from heroics before their items dropped and shit
infectiously terrible game and infectiously terrible people, anyone who defends anything after wotlk is a retarded shill

Dota 2 is singlehandedly the most depressing community I have ever seen.

>there was no semblance of balance whatsoever
>you could freely hop in and out of games
>people got mad but only for like 2 seconds

>art style looks like the offal scraped from Warcraft 3's corpse
>constant predatory monetization schemes
>actually interesting heroes (Invoker, Meepo, Techies) are raped to become League heroes
>game is now only accessible via a matchmaking system rather than a server list
>no more hopping in and out
>if you leave you get a ban from the entire game that lasts anywhere from 30 minutes to a month
>the absolute fetid ass-cancer that is ranked matchmaking is also included
>game that existed purely to fuck around is now packed with meta slaves and angry sweaties
>if you point this out the third-world hordes will shout you down and beg for more battle passes to pay $350 for
>battlenet was also raped by blizzard so playing the real dota is impossible

OG riot cared for the community up till season 5, then they went full corpo mode. Tencet happened and you know the rest

They didn't.
But they also didn't have VOIP from the start, whereas Dota did.
Also having a surrender feature that's available like 10 minutes into a game.
And most games only lasting like 20-25 minutes instead of the 45-55 minutes of dota 2.

League is still toxic as fuck though. It's just no where near as toxic as Dota2 is.
