Sony was always weird. Like the marketers weren't really in tune with the rest of the human race. I mean, yeah, their commercials stood out, but what about them actually made the products they were selling appealing? Ultimately, while they did leave the Playstation brand in people's minds, it's obvious that they didn't actually help sell the PS3. The PS3's sales had literally nothing to do with the ad campaign at all.
