Elden Ring selling 500k on PS4/PS5 is good tho

>source: Dude trust me

Alright, so when does OLED pass ps5's total sales?

It already did user.

>implying there's enough supply

Damn, I just noticed that Switch got really fucking close to the 3ds

Except for the fact that it didn't manage to do that even combined.

1,333,000 vs 1,425,000
It's less than 100k, but still has a way to go. I feel like if ps5 goes back to its usual 10-12k sales a week, OLED could pass it in less than a month.

Not quite, it's outsold both PS5 models individually but not combined yet (although it'll get there within the next few weeks).

Close?

It's beaten out the regular PS5 and it's about 95,000 units away from overtaking both collectively. Maybe a few weeks.

It did, with digital it is close to 500k

Do you have a source for that

>if ps5 goes back to its usual 10-12k sales a week
This is definitely happening starting in April and it will probably last all summer. I wonder if they'll even average 5 figure sales

Worldwide it already beat it.

I think it will sell more than 500k. It will be as close to an evergreen as PS5/PS4 has in Japan, and eventually there will be a lower-priced version released to bump sales.

Let's see the source of the digital numbers. Even though even YOU aren't saying it's made 500,000 at this point.

This isn't botw, buddy.

>fantasy numbers

I don't have a source for digital obviously, but considering that digital has grown tremendously, I think it's safe to close that ER is close to 500k

>I don't have a source for digital obviously, but considering that digital has grown tremendously, I think it's safe to close that ER is close to 500k
So fanfiction then

>considering that digital has grown tremendously
In the us and europe. In japan, games only have high digital sales if there's a severe understock.

why would anyone give a fuck about sales? do you have a stake in the company?

Ok buddy, don't believe me then, we will have to wait and see for Bamco

>3ds
25 million in Japan
>Switch
24 million in Japan

It's close, the switch outsold the 3ds a long time ago worldwide, but still has yet to do so within Japan, though it's inevitable

We don't need multiple circlejerk threads a day

If I like a game, I want there to be more games like it, whether sequels or games that take inspiration/cues from it. If it does poorly, that's unlikely to happen. Likewise, if a game is shit and its success would have a negative impact on the industry as a whole, I want it to fail. Even beyond having a stake in this by the simple fact I enjoy video games, these numbers provide an insight into how the industry might react to changing trends.

I need team Asano games to do well till hopefully Square wills top underfunding them, localize+publish them themself in the west and allow them to get the Final Fantasy as subtitle.

meant for

Get out of here with your common sense.

>allow them to get the Final Fantasy as subtitle.
Why?

>2. [PS5] Gran Turismo 7 – 73,399 / NEW
>3. [PS4] Gran Turismo 7 – 64,565 / NEW

Is it the first time that for the same game, the PS5 version charted better then the PS4 one, in the top 10 of the week? I don't remember seeing such a case, but memory sometimes fails.

They are going to keep using team Asano to fund their fuck ups.

The best outcome unironically is Nintendo poaching them

OK then you put on the pony hat to provide us the counterpoints needed for a balanced disucssion.

>but considering that digital has grown tremendously
on japan? source?

Because these are the actual FF games in anything but name while the only games today allowed to be called FF are worst than those ff7 spinoffs from the ps2 era with zero FF gameplay.
It helps grow these good games because old fans will know these games are for them and may save the franshise as a whole fro collapsing into itself as anything but a shitty WoW2 clone.
