Was it bad? Looked like people were enjoying it. More than Avengers anyway.

Marvel is going to bankrupt square.

>Was it bad?
Absolutely fantastic.

It was great. Sadly, the game flopped because of the Avengers game.

People liked it, but the publisher hated it.

Only exception is Spiderman

This game was all talking, like not a second of silence.

It was actually very good but to be honest I would have preferred it to be the same but an original IP instead of Marvel capeshit. Probably would have sold better too

Sony's Spiderman anyway

it's one of those games banking on movie casts and on their additional character buildings.
If you like guardians and love to see more of them then this game is great.
But if you just want a game for the game play then you will be begging them to shut the fuck up for the entire game

It wasn’t bad, but the avengers game ruined the franchise’s reputation.

We Happy Few was a thing, right? It actually existed and I didn't just dream it up?

A bad Early Access coupled with the fact that it used a terrible loot generator and randomised areas when everyone thought it was going to be a narrative driven game or similar to something like Bioshock in level design.
Game just fucking died and even all these years later I have no interest in ever playing it after that shitshow.

Gameplay leaves something to be desired since it takes a long time to get your upgrades but yeah, it was pretty great. Avengers is what killed any hope for it being good and so it barely got advertisements and fell into obscurity very quickly.

Avengers released in really rough shape. It's gotten better since they added in Hawkeye (One of the strongest characters), Kate Bishop, Black Panther, and Spidey (Best character by virtue of him being Spidey), but it's still got a lot of the issues that plagued it early on. They're slowly making it better and if you can get it for like $10 on the PS4 or PS5 and don't mind fighting robots it's still quite solid even if you just want to do story mode stuff. Just be aware the main campaign is like 50% Kamala and you only get Cap like two missions from the end of the game. Their choices for characters are also all over the place since She Hulk is the next one.

Insomniac's Spidey games have been a lot of fun and they keep getting updated for new suits. Plus we have Wolverine to look forward to, and most Spider-Man games are at least a mix of good to great. They also have the X-Men SNES game, MUA series, and even if it's clunky and Waypool you still have the Deadpool game if you can tolerate the jokes.
DC's got Arkham but Origins slightly brings it down, the two Injustice games if only for their story mode, and Gotham Imposters (Which I think has been RIP for a while). The older DC games are quite rough by comparison to Marvel's older games.

The first 2 Nolan's Batman movies were good, and the third was at the very list okey-ish

Star Lord was so painfully bland and inoffensive. He felt more like Rider from Paw Patrol
>We need to work as a TEAM, Guys

But Man of Steel, BvS Director's cut and Snyder's Justice League are amazing movies with more qualities than the entirety of the MCU

No it's surprisingly good. Pretty solid gameplay, graphics, story, dialogue. But it was a mistake to release it a few weeks after Avengers failed. It's now on Gamepass.
