This is the only way to fight bosses

Parrying bosses just isn't worth it. Takes multiple parrys to get a single critical that doesn't even do that much damage. The risk/reward is so much worse than any other strategy.

you can literally just swing at the air 10 feet away and he'll charge you. Works for most enemies.

I just attack recklessly with lion's claw & colossal sword, either i kill the boss or it kills me first.
I just completed the capital that way.

how are you not getting staggered out of every attack? the poise shit letting you tank like 1 attack from a rat is kinda tiresome

You want to bait the 4 hit combo as much as possible, it has such a long recovery time. Roll to the side for foot stamp, then side for the stab, then back for the first swing and walk out of range for second, you can then walk in and get 3 easy hits.

I wasn't even good at the fight but I was able to make phase 1 relatively easy, ot left my mimic on enough health to last phase 2 long enough for malenia to eat lasers and die.

That was DS3. You spam R2 against tough enemies in Elden Ring instead. Jump R2 is especially broken.

Barricade shield with brass shield, follow up with guard counters. only got hit by his tail the entire fight. Not particularly fun maybe, but taught me to use two valuable mechanics.

Dragon's Dogma's combat was never good, enemies are fucking damage sponges in that game.

Just slapped on an iron buckler and practice parries for 2-3 tries
