Hagiltree is locked behind an item hunt and a puzzle and is accessible through the snow region. I did Hagil then Farum and Farum ended up being a cakewalk from overleveling and just being numb to any bullshit

Well, I do live in eastern eu.

I like most stuff about the game, but I just can't get my head around the balance. Feels like I flop between stun locking every enemy with summon sword so they are no challenge, or my damage is pitiful and no matter what always leaves a slither of health. Just can't find that mid point where I feel effective but not cheesing the game.

I'm sticking with the game cause I love all the weird shit you run into and sort of hoping the balance eventually clicks in place.

I don't know where you are in the game but from Lyndell onwards everything is high enough level that you don't really every truly "overpower" it.

I ended up at level 150 playing blind and I 100% felt like I overpowered the the endgame dungeons

Dragonlord is one of the better fights of the game

Okay, I genuinely don't know how to fight the Fire Giant. I can't see shit when I'm close and I can't stay at a distance either, all the while I have to somehow whittle down what feels like 150,000HP. This is too much for me.

Some of the fights in this game are pretty fucking bad.

you can acquire an item by doing Millicent's quest line that allows you to negate the Frenzy Flame, should you choose.

Also make sure you find the path to the big, hidden area behind 2 illusory walls near the Frenzy Grace

No extra fights or anything, it's just the Any Forums ending.
