gameplay too jank for me, but it was a good aesthetic

No.
Dont get me wrong i actually like the game but the whole camera thing was insanely reatrded, you can turn it off and the game at least becomes playable but the weapons are all 100% garbage and that ending was rushed as fuck, which is incredible since the game barely lasts a few hours.

I do however play it every now and then for the grindhouse vibes this game gives, together with hitman absolution.

I loved the demo for the multiplayer version.

>it was a good aesthetic

Ha
No
The nicest thing anyone can say about it without lying is that it was a unique aesthetic. But sometimes being unique just means you're worse than everyone else.

if you were smart enough you could also got into options and enable player names to always be displayed, so you would know where everyone is in the map at all times.

Ha
No
it's a good aesthetic

If you’re playing Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days with Steadycam enabled, you will never in a trillion years experience the videogame.

You’ll think you have experienced it, but you’ll be cheated. It’s such a sadness, that you think you’ve played the game, without the fucking soul.

Get real.

Oh and the fact that shooting without aiming was better if you wanted to kill someone. Blindfiring with a pistol was more deadly than an AK47.

So realistically Lynch isn’t getting a happy or even a peaceful ending. He’s either gonna kill him self or be gunned down in a last stand. He keeps losing his woman and I think schizos are prone to dying early from suicide.

adding onto this, you havent truly experienced the game unless youre absolutely hammered as well.

I was really excited about playing this game but it was not that good (played it for the first time this year):
- story never went anywhere just the guy yelling "lynch" at you over and over
- weak gunplay and Ai
- absolutely no development in enemies or gameplay.

Did I miss something?

I feel like Kane & Lynch 2 paved the way for other ugly anti-games like Hotline Miami and Cruelty Squad

this game is pure dogshit
maybe it might have been interesting for its time but gameplaywise and storywise I found it so disappointing after constantly seeing people recommend it

>bro just make a cover shooter where the guns have a retarded amount of spread
it's like they were trying to make the worst cover shooter ever

What killed cover shooters?

I love how everyone got butthurt over Kane & Lynch 2's aesthetic, but now everyone is going for the same found footage lo-fi VHS neon "analogue horror" look

I liked the aesthetic, just nothing else

It's because you're not playing it to it's full potential.
Treat it like Hotline Miami 3D and play it on Extreme (restarting after death is virtually as quick as in Hotline Miami), you'll enjoy it far more.

And unlike those pieces of shit it actually nails the aesthetic, instead of throwing the default Red Giant Universe VHS filter on normal digital 16:9 60FPS footage and calling it a day.

Always was

The only thing good about this game was that it had coop. Nothing remarkable about it otherwise, and completely outclassed by Resident Evil 5.

I tried to replay it recently and was surprised how bad it aged gameplay wise. The gunplay just feel so jank for today's standards. I've finished it 3 times in the past but don't think I can now. This is definitely a game that aged, at least for me.

Some of the comfiest main menus of all time though.

They should've used any of these covers instead of the more generic final one

I have hundreds of screenshots of Kane and Lynch 2 from my most recent playthrough. The visuals are just pristine.
