There are a lot of niche music scenes that are good. The music industry as a monolith is pretty shit.
movie industry is slowly getting back on its feet. music always had indie musicians and the real crux is just radiohosts going along with what the managers say.
games as a whole has definitely gotten worse though. extremely exploitative and relies too much on DRM shit to be really authentic anymore.
Disagree. It's so easy to fart out a game that for every overproduced Western AAA wokeshit you get, a million indies emerge to produce a good one by pure natural selection. We have something the movie industry and the anime industry cannot have: a thriving indie ecosystem. Even the movie industry is a little too centralized for indie filmmakers to get a spotlight on their films the way our indie and porn indie darlings get a spotlight on ours. I know we like to knock on it, but the fact that Subverse managed to get a successful Kickstarter and still gets updates till today speaks volumes about the health of our industry.
No, the thing is the average person doesnt give a shit or think about why they are enjoying something. They hear its a good thing and they repeat those sentiments. Only nerds are going to champion for unique or deep experiences but nerds arent where the money is

I honestly couldn't tell you anything about the modern music industry. I couldn't name a single artist from the past ten years, nor could I name the title of any Top 40 hit.
Gaming hit rock bottom like 5 years ago and has since been on the recovery. The situation is hardly so bad.
I feel like the comic book industry is the one that's gotten fucked up the most. I dabbled into comic books for a spell and hoo boy did wokeshit hit them waaaay harder. And its not like they were ever a dominant market either, at least videogames are such a large market that the indie scene is thriving.
This, anime nowadays are generic, movies declined in quality compared to early 2000s, and gaming succumbed to sjws in exception of indies, we are living a little dark age.

Not much is noticeable with any of the choices you listed besides gaming and the best remedy for that is to actually put some research into games if you want to avoid getting a shitty one, and avoid buying some indies and major Playstation titles in general if you want to avoid the push for wokeness
Meanwhile the comics industry has been seeing a decline in quality for years, and DC and Marvel in particular have been getting hit the hardest with all this woke bullshit. Games have been shit since 2007 ala big bang bazinga/iphone/cod4 release.
Anime has been shit since 2012's isekai craze. Some rare good ones make it through, but most anime is same-face cut and paste. It's like watching those modern bad hentais where all the girls just have different hair.
Movies have been shit since 2003, with a rare good one plopped out here and there. Hollywood blockbusters haven't existed in ages and it's only marvel and meme movies.
Music has been shit apart from some bands that actually play their insturments, all mumble rap, hiphip, mainstream, dubstep and rap in general is terrible and pretty much killed music creativity. All top 100 and radio is either boomer rock which was actually decent, or weird hollywood drugged out 4 beat garbage.
