Elden Ring has rendered this game obsolete. All the other Soulsbornekiroring games have something that sets them apart, but not DS3. This game is just Elden Ring but inferior in every conceivable way.

DS3 was never good

Give it a couple months and people will realize how kino DKS3 was after having witnessed the mess that is Elden Ring.

>we have to confront a hard truth that few people seem to want to face about the Souls games, including From Soft themselves. But here it is: the combat is nothing remarkable. There is no aerial combat, and that equates to mediocre gameplay. In terms of actual complexity, there's not much going on. There's not much *depth*, and that wouldn't be a problem except the series has increasingly leaned on its action elements more and more while refusing to incorporate juggling, hot weapon swapping, dodge cancelling or even a simple style meter. So prepare to roll again and again, and again and again and again.

Soundtrack and bosses

I’m enjoying Elden Ring, and I’m very, very glad to see Power Stance make a comeback.

But ultimately, it’s not as good as Dark Souls 2, and still lacks the build expression that DS2 excelled at. DS2 DLC is, unfortunately, not only better than anything else in the franchise but better than anything I’ve found in Elden Ring so far. Might also be that I’m tired of these ridiculously flexible, jumping spinny bosses with huge combo strings and insane 180 degree sweeps. I kinda miss when DS1 and 2 mostly had someone come at you with a weapon and try hit you with it.

Dark Souls 2 > Dark Souls 1 > Elden Ring > Sekiro > Bloodborne > Dark Souls 3

Dark Souls 3 was always shit.

Agreed that nothing about ds3 stands out compared to the other games and elden ring is basically a straight upgrade in most ways, but ds3 doesn’t have insanely shitty bosses and the boring open world stuff like elden ring. So at least in that regard ds3 is better. Still almost no reason to replay it though.

>soundtrack
>doesnt even use a real orchestra
>bosses
>when 75% of them are gimmicks or brain dead easy

er bosses are no worse than ds3 bosses. in fact they're objectively better
rykard >yhorm
radahn > sullivahn
radagon > soul of cinder

the combat is pretty good

You can say whatever you want about DS3, but it has the most memorable bosses of the franchise.

don't remember any of them

The ending gauntlet of boss fights was complete trash, they just added AOE to everything. Lazy garbage.

Most orchestral soundtracks you hear in any media are just orchestral samples composed on a computer. You really can’t tell a difference between them anymore

Bloodborne used a real orchestra. Its the definition of soulless, which is fitting for dark souls 3

That's a nice three bosses. Meanwhile
>boss you fought 20 hours ago but a different color
>boss you fought 20 hours ago but 2 of them
>boss you fought 20 hours ago but with a gank squad in the room
>boss you fought in another game but with a new model
x20

It's all the best parts of ER without shitty filler catacombs with another fucking tree spirit at the end.
Nostalgiafags fellating capra demon dog's cock and DaS2 dungeaters need not apply.

The chad tier list:

DS2 > Bloodborne > Elden Ring = DS1 >>> DS3

Wrong. Elden Ring doesn't have End of Fire, and none of the tracks are as good as Secret Betrayal.

DS3 never really had any identity of it's own, it kinda sucked

wow what a garbage opinion!

The only people who unironically enjoyed 3 were zoomers who started the series with it.

Five years later and this autistic ritualposter is still seething.

Not everything needs juggling/hot-swapping/style meter. And not everything needs a roll/dodge button. Falseflagging tard.

>radagon > soul of cinder
ahahahahaha no. Especially considering Elden Beast is a thing.

ds1>sekiro>ds3>every kings field game>er>des>ds2>bb

are people really going to want to play elden ring another time?

a huge hook of souls games imo is doing multiple runs with multiple builds and taking multiple paths once you know where stuff is

elden beast is trash but radagon phase one is better than cinder in every way
you forgot to mention these bosses are all skippable and ds3 has a ton of garbage bosses like Wolnir, ancient wyvern, curse-rotted greatwood, deacons of the deep, etc. in its roster, which are all worse than even a simple Curcible Knight. ER has better bosses.

Sure. The second run of elden ring is going to be much faster than the first and you can skip any amount of content you don't want to bother with.
