X/Y was the last game with SOVL, everything after just doesnt do it for me. Honestly, X/Y didnt even have that much SOVL, it just had a nice gateway to start EV training, breeding for perfect IVs and an approachable way to play against randoms. My favorite is R/S/E but I couldnt get through ORAS, felt so souless.
