SMT V

I picked the law ending, not really because I agreed with it, but I just wanted to side with Dazai since he was the only interesting character. It was kinda disappointing though, are the other endings better?

Chaos and Neutral are similar scope wise, true end gets a full ending cinematic and you'll either love it or hate it. It's the worst end for Nahobino while Law/Neutral/Chaos are shit shows for everyone other than Beano whose having the time of his life.

True Neutral is the best ending and likely the one they'll choose for an Apocalypse-like sequel

I have never played one of these games. Are they difficult?

yes

yeah somewhat hard

Yes if you have low IQ.

They can be, but it's more the game expects you to make use of all the mechanics and throw curveballs often. You get an enormous amount of freedom in building your party so nothing is truly insurmountable.

At first it is, but once you understand how to use your party, it gets easy fast

High skill floor, but low skill ceiling. They become cakewalks once you understand all the mechanics well enough.

They arent as braindead unga bunga as most turn based RPGs, yea. Once you master the system and such its not "hard" outside of the beginning because of limited options, but this is true of literally every single turn based RPG ever created, similar to how most games arent "hard" once you know the system. Basically go into them blind and you will have a good challenge, but if you use a guide then dont bitch about how its "easy" due to foreknowledge

>Want the neutral ending on my 1st playthrough
>Filtered HARD by Shiva
Im not going to revisit this on NG+, but I've almost won before. its such a hard fight that demands planning + perfection for every turn...1 mistake and you're gonna snowball into being fucked. It's such a hard fight but only because I dont have enough Somas to save my ass in a pinch

Shy is she so OP

>I ended up siding with a philosophy I didn't believe in, and I was disappointed.
Are you retarded?

I love Shiva, probably my favorite boss in the series. Demifiend is way, WAY harder

Did they rip her model for porn yet

Oh yeah I fought Demifiend just to see how true the memes were, immediately wiped. I love that the game just doesnt end at Lvl 99, you still got plenty more party building to do if you wanna clear the end game content. I was forced to buy the Mitama DLC (was free thanks to gold coins but still)

I didn't really believe in any of them
Koshimizu's plan is especially retarded

None of these games have any actual philosophy it’s just “what type of evil do you want?”

Retard.

Is any of the dlc worth getting

>day 1 DLC is fine when Japan does it

The Fiends one. Give you a bunch of great unique boss fights including the ultimate super boss and gives some context to the main story. The other DLC demons are not really worth and kind of OP, but if you just want more content they're nice. The mitama one is pure cancer, first of all the game gives you all the same opportunities to grind in the base game but it just breaks the game replacing regular enemies with mitamas constantly, makes everything look goofy.

>gives some context to the main story
Are you kidding me, fucking jews
