I could see Capcom fully conceding all coom elements in the interest of "sponsors and e-sports ethics" and citing stuff like Guilty Gear's recent Baiken or the new KOF girls would not even matter because SF is big enough to do what it wants and they can just say they are "leading the genre in a new direction"
