I still think its the peak of GTA. I play CTW afterwards for the full experience.

Funny how I used to hate this game's driving, but now, every game's car handling just feels way too weightless compared to it. That and the destruction physics on the cars made the driving feel super fucking skillful.

The driving is fine once you get used to it, you just have to manage your speed and brake properly.

GTAIV released in a time right before everything became smartphone and internet based and it reflects nicely in the mood of the game. If you were growing during this time then this game is an amazing nostalgic experience within it's own world.
