>amazingly fun, endlessly replayable
>did everything 2 did but better
>GOAT soundtrack
>requires less work and is more fun than Paradise
>no remaster, no ports, no nothing
Why?
Burnout
you can turn left or right in any racing game you dont need a remaster
EA is too lazy to port the arcane ps2 magic of this game to modern systems.
They'll rerelease it some day but it'll be emulated :^)
Because the devs got bought by EA and they make NFS games now.
original works fine. it's arcade racing game. that shit works the same still as it did then so it's not like they magically improve gameplay with remaster
I heard 3/revenge doesn't get ported since they tossed out/lost the source code. That's why we got stuck with paradise instead of one of the good ones
Insider here, it will never have a remake because music license.
paradise is so fucking awful it's unreal. One of my most hyped games at release too
This game was the business.
They only made HP 2010 which was pretty good and MW2012 which sucked
>Acclaim
Remember when they encouraged people to get speeding tickets?
Burnout 3 was the peak of the arcade racer. Never before have I had such fun driving fast in a video game.
Even if they removed every musical note in the game and """remastered""" it in 4k I would still buy it day 1 and hope mods fixed the rest.
>we already have Burnout at home
>the burnour at home
The game is made in a CPU graphics engine as a subsidiary of Canon (yes, the camera people) for modeling static 3D renders, primarily architecture and building floorplans, focusing on html compatibility.
The team that made Burnout are the same people that made the original engine, they are be the only people with the actual dev documents. Even then its not like they can release it because the engine is in licensing hell between every japanese hardware company that ever achieved relevance in the 90s, all of them are highly litigious and/or yakuza, and those companies also all know exactly which small group of individuals has the dev documents in case they ever leak.
Wasn't that made by Flatout and Wreckfest devs?
>Here's your Burnout, bro
I miss Burnout 3 so bad. Nothing has come close to recapturing the magic of it. It really was the peak of arcade racing.
Didn't Criterion create the RenderWare engine that was used in tons of games including GTA and Persona?
Kinda impressive how they were able to maintain 60 FPS at the time
King taste
I didn't know that user.
I used to be absolutely obsessed with B3 and Revenge so much I finished both games 100% multiple times, but Paradise was somehow so extremely gay and shit I couldn't play it for more than 20 minutes.
>more than 10 minutes of annoying unskippable intro
FUCK YOUUUUUUU
The Burnout that no one remembers
It was great but EA fucked up when they didn't release it on Xbox.
How come none of these games got a PC release except Paradise?
The first 2 games were even on the GameCube
>Revenge
To you, man of taste.
shouldve got Takedown instead of Dominator. wayyyyyyyy funner times in takedown
It was cool in the day but playing it now is just the console games but worse
THIS FIRE IS OUT OF CONTROL
I'M GONNA BURN THIS CITY
BURN THIS CITY
>no crash mode
Meh
It was not made by the original team like the rest of the series
so true oomfie
Paradise is by no means on 3's level but it is still an absolute blast to play
>One of the best open worlds to drive around, not too big or small and has amazing verticality
>Getting used to just blinkers and no waypoint is a bitch to learn but is really fun once you get the hang of it
>Co-op stunt challenges with the entire multi-player lobby
>Spending entire hours in the figure 8 loops just crashing into your friends
I miss this shit like you wouldn't believe
I hated there was no restart button
Why would you play this when Legends exists
why would you play either when handheld emulators are on the rise and you can just play the console games
