I've never been invaded yet. Are they just extremely rare or do I have to enable it?

I always use the finger snap gesture when I defeat a host or an invader.

There is no courtesy anymore, since ER completely fucked invasions there's no reason to be polite anymore. Be as much of a scumfuck as possible, because hosts and their summons certainly won't be nice.
Niggers will literally cower back in fear trying to gank you because there's npcs around. Even if they aren't they'll fucking hang back until you engage them, likely in an enclosed space, so they can r1 spam poisebreak you to death.

I was summoned for Morgot and didn't notice some dude invading.
He hit me once and I two shot him with Moonveil's L2+R2.
What I'm trying to say is that you're 99% guaranteed to be outnumbered and outskilled with how broken some weapons are, don't bother with courtesy unless the invaded is courteous first.

DS2 was only good for dueling. Soul memory and no infinite invade item ruined invasions.

soul memory stopped being a factor with the agape ring. DS2 was all about invading people on that stupid bridge, or defending the belfries.

there is no courtesy when I am getting invaded, someone is going out of their way to ruin my game they are the one forcing me to pvp so there will be no rules and I will try with all the means possible to kill them

In my experience the courtesy is for you and both your phantoms to instantly start unloading Moonveil Memebeams.

I'll deal with anything as an invader (besides cheesy gank setups in which case I WILL flee and I WILL severer out) so feel free to treat Invaders like shit and do whatever you can to repel them.

Based. If I invade you I'm expecting at least 2 phantoms + whatever you have at your disposal. Hosts too often forget that simply running away from a invader is a valid strategy, and try to fight someone who has likely 2x as much experience in against other players.
